Default Head Swap

What engine head can i buy for my 1996 Honda Accord EX to make a swap from my f22 2.2 SOHC engine to something better/stronger (HP) or what engine can i buy without having to completly change the motor mounts ? Can I put a h22 head on it ? Im a noob to the honda world and doing some research but dont really know that much or what i can do without spending too much money. Any answers ???

h22 head will work. but not a job for a honda newbie. requires half h and f parts on the timing and water pump side of things , plus a little welding to make the water pipe on the backside to work together then you also have to block of a couple of oil drains in the head and open one up alittle bit so the oil drains back the the block. if your going this route consult a builder . here is a good write up on a f23/h22 build. that site is full of that stuff , some good some bad, do your research before you buy anything. very nice power gain just from stock honda parts . they call it the G23 build

There won’t be any gains of this head swap unless you raise your c/r or boost the engine. Honestly the swap isn’t all that hard Iv done 2 of them plus the one I'm personally building right now.
