Lol....finch. Honestly, just aim for 300whp by whatever means. 300whp is respectable and pretty d@mn good.

Still pretty damn expensive though. You have to figure in shop costs too because I KNOW hes not going to put the wrench time in.

Yay! $10k! Anyway can just throw that money into a car thats worth less, right?

Can we just lock this thread? People are giving this kid waaay to much info for his own good. AccordLXMaster, you're about a year younger than me and I make about as much as you possibly can without a college education or a job in a skilled labor. I cannot afford to put much on my car. You dont just dump 10 large into a car if it has no purpose, nobody does that. You have very limited knowledge of cars and even less of engines, so please stop wasting our time with your fantasy land dreams. We all want to have the fastest, baddest car on the block and for 90% of us, its just not going to happen. You need to start reading. A few years back I went to the bookstore and got a bunch of books on nitrous, turbocharging, and a book specifically written about Honda 4-cyl engines... albeit, it was much over my head, but I read what I could and then returned the books to get my money back =D
well check this out..dont judge a book by its cover....i know alot about cars dont get me wrong...and i know a thing or two about engines...just because i ask alot of questions doesnt mean i dont know much...and as far as making the money id have to say finch uve got me pretty wrong about that...i have money coming in...trust me im not on here just to fantasize about what COULD possibly happen....im asking because im thinking about doing it...i DO...have the money actually....i live in a 3 story house....2.2 million dollar to be exact...i have money sir..lol...i just dont act like it well because thats why people "get got"....so as far as me talkin in the 10k range yea thats alot but its managable for me...so guys i really do appreciate all the info uve given me...trust me it will not go to waste!!!

If you had money flowing in you wouldnt be putting a Spectre intake on and a Flowmaster exhaust.

And just because your parents live in a $2.2M house doesnt make you rich unless Mommy and Daddy pay for your car mods too. I moved out of a $1.3M house, am I rich? No.

I dont believe you one bit about knowing a thing or two about cars or engines. The way you talk and the questions you ask make me think you dont know your mouth from your @$$. Im not going to help you out and I dont think other members should either. Considering what happened in your fiasco of an HID thread, you dont take anyones advice seriously and like to waste peoples time.

You bought 10,000K HIDs, which only shows me that you have no regard for taste, style or functionality of a performance item, all I see is someone buying parts to say they have them and know nothing about them. Its time for you to lurk in the shadows on here and go venture to 6thGenAccord.com to start reading and researching before you ask any more nonsense questions and wasting out quickly disappearing members' time.

PS - I had to judge the book by its cover, it didnt have any pages.

You can't even get the proper engine terms right or use them correctly, and you used google to tell you about increasing bore and stroke.

Give me a break.

seriously??...youre serious right??...sadly...i, in fact, do know a thing or two....now as far as you saying i dont know my mouth from my a$$ is definitely preposterous....i know a thing or two about cars...and the fact that you let the HID thing get to you....wow like you said i was only defending myself...so...is it so wrong to defend myself??...maybe not in the USA.....and point number 2...the fact that i put a spectre intake and a flowmaster on my car was not to make little Finch13 happy..it was indeed to make myself happy...and actually if you heard what my honda sounds like you would agree that it technically doesnt sound like a flow...so get over it on that part....the spectre?? heh...i agree couldve done better yes...but at the time its all i saw...wasnt too shabby about ordering online and since i live in a small area...(mesquite)..there arent many perfor. shops around...and id be D*mned if i go 20 miles just to get a part...so the online buying yes im starting over on that for the simple fact that i had a bad experience on that....you can understand it...cant you??...and my third point....i dont take anyones advice seriously??...really?..is that what you think??...see the fact is that when i ask a question....then i get answers.....mostly i get requests to rephrase the question ok......i do so.....then i start to get answers......and when i get those answers yes...i do take them seriously because if they werent then you wouldnt post them would you not??...now just because i have something to say doesnt mean im not taking them seriously....if you didnt know something and you asked about it and they gave you an answer...wouldnt you question it a little bit...just to get cleared up what you already have in your head??....i talk to mechanics....."car junkies"....so called experts and people on here....so i have my share of knowledge....thing is i just want to get cleared up what i already know...with you guys.....IS THAT SO WRONG??.....i dont think so....and on this thread....it wasnt even that bad....finch honestly you kinda overreacted....the fact that we were talking in such high numbers yea i get it...not very reachable...but ok i know that now.....you cant even give me the BOTD that i just need a few things cleared up??...h&ll i didnt know right off the bat that a turbo costs over 2g's with parts and what not....no i didnt...thats exactly why i come here..TO GET ANSWERS....NOT TO SHOW OFF WHAT I ALREADY KNOW.....just because i googled something....what its wrong??...thats how i found this website in the first place...GOOGLE....so i read up on my own and then asked about it....is that so wrong??..no its not....so as far as im concerned the only true damage was yes....the HID thread...which is done and over....i had no hard feelings towards falkore....or even the main guy t00fatt...me and him havent had any rude words because well its over and done....its not like i hated the guy....and you finch...you.....you backed me up...you pretty much understood where i was coming from....and now youre getting mad because i started talking in unreachable areas??..no...thats not how it works....like i said i still appreciate everything and all the answers ive been given....they still dont go to waste....

I have just this to say,99.7% of us work hard, and 99.7% of us want it all,but what if 100% actually thought before they typed.

Sorry that you feel you have been insulted member. I understand where both sides are coming from on this one. Coming from a active member of 3+ forums, it seems like 2 or 3 times a week there is a member asking about a turbo, or a motor swap, or in your case a engine build, and I would say maybe 1 out of 50(if that) actually ends up doing it. So you can see where a person would get sick of answering said questions about the more expensive power adders.

You can see how a member could assume that these things would ever get done. Does this make it fair that you should not get the answers you asked for, and should get ridiculed for asking the question? No, not in my opinion at least.

Come ON guys... Be nice or Ill lock this thread up.

So what if master is lying or telling the truth. We can try to answer his questions. Someday he can post pictures of his car after he spends his $10k. Or not, if he is all talk. Doesnt hurt any of us, either way.
