there is oil being pushed out of the bottom of my distributor....should i replace the whole distributor or is there a seal that could stop the problem?

 

What's the 'bottom'? If it's leaking INSIDE the body of the distributor, then you can't replace that seal. Need a new distributor body.

If it's leaking down the side of the head, from the OUTSIDE of the base of the distributor, it's easier. There's an O-ring on that end of the distributor.

 

sorry about that...it was the o-ring on the distributor shaft. problem solved
