Default Putting a vtec in my accord, it has 2.3 non vtec now

i have a 1998 accord with a 2.3 non vtec with a 5 speed, while i'm driving at 3k rpm i can hear a knocking noise but if i give just a small amount of gas it gose away or if i eazy off the gas it will also go away, however it sounds like it coming from the right side of the car, i thought maybe a rod or main bearing, but someone said it could be a wirst pin....who knows??? anyway i found a wreck 1998 accord with a SOHC vtec and i want to put it in my car, my problem is i have a 5 speed and it has a auto trans.....if i use the vtec motor what wiring and ecm do i use ? mine or the one from the wrecked accord being it's a auto and i want to keep my 5 speed, thanks you guys

You might have to do complete the engine, wire harness and ECM. As for the motor from an automatic should be same as 5sp, take of the flex plate and bolt your old flywheel and clutch then you're good to go.
