underdrive pulleys question

RE: underdrive pulleys question
I can't honestly say I found any improvement w/ my AEM's. That's one of those mods that makes sense just from the physics of it. I believe there are some gains from the pulleys, but think anyone who says it's real noticeable is just 'experiencing' it because they want to believe their mod did something.
My school of thought is even the smallest of gains add up to a meaningful improvement.
Remember to write down the info on the new belts, and maybe even get spares. If you break a belt away from home, you could be SOL since they're not stock belts.

RE: underdrive pulleys question
The power gain is so little from underdriving the alternator and power steering that it's pointless. If you want to free up about 4 HP and keep your charging system at its full potential then take the belt off of the power steering pump. Power gain, no wasted money on pulleys, and your battery stays charged.
