Default Vtec head

hey i own a 94 accord with a f22b2 sohc engine. I was wondering if there was anyway i could drop a vtec f22 series head or "top" on it and make it a vtec if possible. also i was wondering if you could do the same with a f23 head and drop it on there... i dont know. also what would it take to put this all together if it can and estimate cost. if you have any information that would be awsome

Find an F22B1 head, intake manifold, header, distributor, new headgasket and head studs and swap it on. Will probably require a new ECU and some wiring changes.

Also, if you can't do the work yourself, you're wasting your money IMO. Only 15 extra hp...maybe.

I really don't know the answer there.[sm=imsorry.gif]
I'm no turbo expert.
Project build would be ideal. Save you loads of money to piece together a turbo system than to buy a kit[sm=proof.gif]

i know that! V-tech does a few things, but when going turbo, most cars disconnect the V-tech cause it takes extra oil to the camshaft so i works better. This desviation of oil causes the oil pressure to drop, and this means that the turbine gets lower pressure. that's part of the reason most ppl disconnect it. also the vtech gives extra gas at higher rpms, but the apexi does that when the car is turbo so it doesn't matter...
