01 Honda Accord Lx Sedan part 2 multiplex unit

Default 01 Honda Accord Lx Sedan part 2 multiplex unit

could someone tell me how to change this unit out, or at least where it is located? any help given would be greatly appreciated

It is under the dash probably near the driver's side fuse box (#11). It looks like there is one on the passenger side too (#12).

It looks like you can unplug then unbolt it? You will just have to find it.

Should be right in front of the driver's side fuse box, blue in color, rectangular shape about 3-4 inches long.

oh man thank you much for all the help, I am thinking of just ordering the part from honda and then searching for it once I know what it looks like....again thank you very much for the help...if you could give me anymore let me know

And you did test this unit. I know you were looking for an answer. "Piggylover" tested to be sure the ground coming out of the unit was bad, not sure of the cost of this unit but I would hate to spend money and then find out it is/was something else....if you are set on replacing, try a boneyard or someplace like car part.
