01 Weatherstip problem
Hi There,
Yesterday i noticed that my drivers side window would not go all the way up. So today i looked at it and found that the weatherstrip(not sure of the actual name) is being pinched inwards when the window is rolled up. This causes the window to not be able to shut all the way. I pulled the corner out a bit and held it with my fingers and the window went up just fine. But it wants to just curl up when i let go.
Is there a way to fix this? Or do i just need to replace the whole strip? And if so how do i go about doing that? Thanks. Below is a pic of what i mean. Thanks for any help.

Nice pic ! That is the window run channel, the window is always trying to push it up as it drags in the channel.
You might try rolling up the window, get the flap laying in the right place, and use a hot blowdryer to warm the rubber up and then let it cool to see if it will lay back flat. 'Rubbing' the run channel back down a little might also help.
when you get it working right, clean out the run channel and slather in some 'Shinitsu' silicone grease. and work it into the rubber.
