I've used the search function but couldn't find all my answers. I have an oil leak that appears to be coming from the crank seal. I know the pulley bolt is really tight and my Crapsman impact won't budge it. I'll try a bigger impact or breaker, etc.

Once (if) I get the bolt off, does the pulley come off the crank easily or do in need some sort of puller. Thanks for any help.

 

also, I read somewhere that the bolt comes off clockwise. Is that right?

 

No, it's lefty loosey righty tighty. You won't need a puller, just wiggle it back and forth and it will slide off.
