My compressor clutch and stator (coil?) were changed recently for the same symptoms. It would blow cold sometimes, but it would not last long. i was going to try adjusting the clutch gap myself, because it was over spec, but it looked almost impossible to do with the compressor in the car. I have an 03 V6, so the 4 cylinder version may be different. It cost me $600 at the dealership, but it would have cost at least $300 for the parts anyway to do it myself, and I still would have needed a shop to evacuate and replace the coolant.

Mine is definitely intermittent. It worked for about 10 minutes and went out again. I did manage to look and that both fans were turning. It Worked one other time Today been to cool to really need this week any way. Haven't had any time to further troubleshoot, but will into this clutch gap deal. Thanks again guys
