05 ECU and or Key issue
Newbie here with a dilemma:
2005 Honda Accord 4 Door LX, 2.4L 2354CC l4 GAS DOHC Naturally Aspirated
For 2005 and earlier models, the number 5 represents the engine code K24A4 (four-door model)
VIN: 1HGCM56435A149305
ECM: 37820RADA54
1437-246887
Car will not start for several reasons.
1. No key (only had one key and it is nowhere to be found)
2. May have a computer issue. When I did have the key car would start and run then randomly nott start again for weeks. All mechanical 's are good or have been recently replaced and verified in good running order.
3. Recently bought used lock cylinder and key set. Replaced and now I can try to start the car. It tries to start but the green dash board key flashes. Tried to reprogram the key. No luck.
Also put the original immobilizer collar onto the replacement lock cylinder. No luck
Not sure where to start. Need a set of keys in order to start the car. Not sure if the computer is recognizing the original immobilizer to begin with.
Suggestions??

You need to program the key to the car. A locksmith will be able to do it. You can't unless you have the computer to do it.
You may have only fixed part of the problem with the cylinder (not having a key). You should of bought an ignition switch and went and got a key from the dealership or bought one online and had it programmed by a locksmith and that more than likely would have fixed your original issues.
