Default '06 Accord fried PCM

I have an '06 Accord that won't run due to an inoperative PCM. Apparently the condensation drain tube became clogged, which in turn flooded the PCM causing it to fail. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know if a TSB covers this? Please advsie

Don't know of a TSB....usually the sound of the water....maybe smell, or when changing the cabin air filter this would be found and corrected.

Sorry to hear of your issues

Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) are to give information to service technicians to address known issues, they are not recalls unless specially stated as such. There is no TSB regarding this.

There are a few threads on this forum and other forums of damaged PCMs due to a clogged drain hose. Generally, the fix is to unclog the drain hose with a vacuum or other source; and if the PCM is damaged, replace PCM and have new PCM programmed with HDS (Honda Diagnostic System).
