It seems like one thing after another. I replaced the door handle cable. Put it back together and all was fine until I heard a noise when closing the door. The clip that holds the key lock arm fell off. I opened it up and struggled but managed to get it back in place. Now the windows is making a squeaking/squealing sound when going up and down. I tried silicone and still the noise. I removed the door panel and the window track on the handle side (same one I removed to replace the cable) but still makes the noise.

 

Sorry, that's a pain after doing something and it acts up. Is it the glass rubbing on something as it goes up and down? Or is it actually from the window run seal?

 

I looked and couldn't see anything rubbing, actually killed the battery going up and down so many times. I think the noise is coming from the right track but above the piece you remove to replace the cable. I reviewed my work and can't see anything I did wrong.

 

I think there is a procedure to align the glass where you loosen the glass mounting bolts and push the glass towards the vertical part of the channel, so towards the rear seats. Then tighten the bolts.

 

I think that will make it worse since that is where the noise is coming from.

 

Are you certain the glass is actually in the rubber window run all the way down? I have seen it come out like half way down, and window will still go up and down.

 

I'm not sure what you are referring to hopefully you can elaborate. I took the track off the side towards the rear(had to remove this originally to replace the door cable), even with that removed it squeals. I didn't really look at the front side and as it is hard to see above the removed rail.
