You can wrap a wire around the small pin of the relay that does not have power at the socket. Then connect the other end of the wire to a good ground. Then plug in the relay. That will supply a good ground to the control (small pin) side and the relay will work normally.

If you want to find the actual cause watch pine hollow diagnostics on youtube as he traces down damaged wiring and you may be able to spot a possible spot where the wire harness is damaged.

 

Tried to wrap a wire around the post for the ground that was not HOT, still didn’t work. I don’t know what to do

 

Sorry this is taking a while to figure out. Lets try the test light and test all 4 sockets of the relay.

Turn key to the II position. Make sure fan setting in the car is set to run full blast. Hook the test light clip up to ground. There should be a ground connection on the fuse box.

1. Hot Big Pin Socket. The test light should turn on when you touch the test light to the relay socket.
2. Hot Small Pin socket. The test light should turn on when you touch test light to relay socket.

Move the test light to the + post where the + battery connects to the fuse box. Keep key in II position.

3. Not hot Big Pin Socket. The test light should turn on. The blower in the car should run.
4. Not hot Small Pin Socket. The test light should turn on.

Let us know if 1,2,3, and/or 4 test good. And let us know which one(s) does not test good.
