Default 1990 Accord Window help

My 1990 Accord front drivers window tilts forward when I roll it up. The passenger one is starting to do the same thing. Do I have to replace the regulators or is there something I can do to remedy this? Also the back windows screech when I roll them down, but not when I roll them up. Do the regulator tracks need to be greased? Also the windows (all 4) seem to be getting scratched on the outside.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Front window sounds like heavy drag from dirty or damaged window run channels. Your regulator/window fasteners may be loose or damaged. Only way to know is to remove door panel and inspect. Don't try to remove door panel w/o detailed instructions from a manual (Haynes or download via DIY Online Manuals). You may be able to lower windows, clean run channels and retighten connections. The door handle trim is particulary tricky to remove. It must be pulled forward and outward to release from door panel. If you pull outwards, you will break the rear retaining lug off the trim.

Rear windows may be more of the same.

Also the window horizontal wipers may be hardened, broken, and scratching the window, and adding drag in downward direction. This may be source of screeching on way down.

good luck

You may also want to adjust the window. There is a procedure in the shop manual that TexasHonda encouraged you to download.
