Well... Almost a year later I have the same exact problem. No tail lights, dash lights or front marker lights. I have no idea why but my previous jump no longer works (all fuses are good).

I did resolve the issue however I am not a mechanic or an electrician and want to make it clear that if you do this you are doing this at your own risk I was able to run the wire from the dimmer to the radio power, so when I turn the car on I automatically get tailights, marker lights and dash lights. If anything my insurance company should give me a reduction as I now have 1/2 daytime running lights, am I right? LOL .
