The CEL finally came on again. And no, you can't check the code when the car is running. I must not have had a good contact before. I pushed the paperclip way in and now the CEL is flashing. Running around like always, I didn't have much time to watch the flash. I know that I saw 43, but there may have been another code as well. Have to check after work... It may be time to take a vacation day and spend some time with it.

 

Been a long while since I last posted, I have been living with the car losing power and taking a few tries to start. With no personal time I took it to the mechanic and he said the tube seals were bad and the #3 was not firing. So, new gasket kit, plugs, wires, oil, filter, etc. and all is back like it was before. And before things get too good, he tells me I need to replace the ball joints. Time to save up more money....
