I can't figure out what "No Pulse" means. Did you get an error code? What's the code number?

No check engine light , no error codes , and the pulse is the signal from the ecu to the ignitor and/or coil to turn them on and off ... The ecu controls the ground side of the coil and ignitor .. I have power but the ecu is not triggering the ground on/off, on/off , on /off ...

I'll guess that a Prelude is about the same in that circuit??? The signal goes to the ignitor, which works like an isolation-amplifier & passes the signal along to the coil.

Have you checked continuity with the wiring? Rule out any flaky connectors in the signal out to the ignitor? Normally that would result in a code 15 "ignition output signal".

Somewhere in the links available in the "common DIY" sticky-post is instructions to check failed ignitor vs. failed coil. Try that out, becuase if the ignitor is bad it might not open that circuit (therefore the ECM has no way of knowing that the ignitor is bad).

Some autozone-type places can test your ignitor.

Yes , all continuity checks are ok , even with moving the wires around .. I have gone through all the sensors , and wires .. All the sensors are new , and my fuel and coil will fire if i do it with my power probe . but the ecu isnt setting any check engine lights or codes . the bulb is good . all grounds are good .. i have ruled out everything except the ecu .. so its next , im just going to replace it with a PT6 out of an accord so it will match my motor .. if it still wont fire then its going to the Honda dealer and they can mess with it .. I am in school for Automotive and have been using this as my project but all my options point to ecu .. I will let you know when i swap it . I will post the outcome ,Good or bad ..
