Default 1992 Honda accord-What is a kickdown switch?

Alright. I am having transmission issues. I pulled a code 15 from the d4 light.

It says in the manual that it is the Vehicle speed sensor. It also says that in "some" models it is the "kick down switch short circuited". Strangely it does not tell me what models. I own 1992 Honda Accord DX. Is the kick down switch another name for selonoid?

I do not believe that my shifting issues are the speeds sensor because my speedometer work just fine.

Also I should add that I cannot seem to find a "kick down switch" on the internet for purchase and Auto zone had nothing listed. I am guessing it goes by another name?

The name is the main shaft speed sensor. It will be bolted on the transmission in the general area below the battery.
