You may have an aftermarket distributor, although all the ones I've seen look to be rebuilt OEM.
The "diamagnetic screw" is probably caused by the nearby powerful magnets in the CYP/CKP/TDC sensors in the distributor.
Yes, igntion switches fail regularly on Accords and other Honda products. Not sure but maybe they're carrying too much current in the switched circuits.

Turns out I have 12V all the way down except at the igniter / ICM.
I noticed a crack in the black wire harness the one the fits under the dizzy in a clip & when I opened it up I discovered that the black-yellow wire was broke so I did a soder and put back together and the car runs again.
I must of broke connection all the way when I was replacing the ICM the first time.
