Thanks so much for the diagram. That makes perfect sense.

I am going to replace the 'Hazard Switch' first to see if it resolves the problem. Do you think, I should get a a turn signal switch from the boneyard too or just the hazard would replace the problem?

If they don't want much for the turn signal switch then why not? You'd have a spare.

Thanks so much guys for all of your input and help.

Turn signals have started to work properly without any issue, not sure how and why

Now no more buzzing noise, seems like all is well now(At the moment)

Will start this thread again, if I need any more help on it. As always, thanks again to all of you.

Google pulls up old forum posts, I researched this for a few hours last night and found that a failing Hazard Switch often causes turn signal issues. It is possible to pull the switch out and clean, but you might break it...

Dirty/Corroded innards of my hazard switch made my 1994 Accord Wagon have no turn signals, and a really loud BUZZ noise. I researched the Factory manual for schematics and the 'net for Other Users experiencing similar issues. I finally took the hazard switch apart, cleaned and back together. In my case, I killed the "switcher" mechanism in my Hazards; they work, (no noise) but I have to hold it to keep it on. I'll get a new one soon, but at least the signals work!

(Original Symptom: right and left turn signal didn't work and the flasher relay BUZZED really loudly Like a 1960s VW horn. This happens with key on or off, hazards are always Hot Voltage but turn signals *should* require key. I replaced the flasher relay and the new one didn't work either and instead of a buzzing sound it made a rapid clicky noise, twice as fast as a "hyper-flash" that LED bulbs will cause.)
