1997 accord bogging under acceleration
Alright, my girlfriend is having a problem with her accord. It bogs under acceleration only at certain times and the problem comes and goes often. Ive driven it and noted the following. engine temp is not a factor. sometimes it only does it after fully warmed up (driven for 30 min) other times it doesnt it when its not warm at all and only been running 30 seconds. Basically, the "bogging" feels like the breaks are being applied while trying to drive. While in gear (car is auto) the car wont go past 2500rpm and feels like its mis firing. At times the car is unable to go past 10mph (even while giving it full throttle) It never stalls out and ALWAYS idles perfect. Ive cleaned the throttly body which was terribly dirty and have had no luck. could it be the fuel pump or injectors? Any help is deffinetly appreciated!!

When were the maintenance items replaced like the spark plugs, distributor cap, and the distributor rotor? What brand of spark plugs did you use?
