I bought my car 2 years ago and has been great up until about 2 months ago, it will stall without warning while I'm driving, even up to speeds of 70 mph! I got the main relay fixed and its still happening. I've read blogs from other honda owners that have the same problem and some have sinked around $5-600 into them before it was fixed. Could there be a main cause of this? Its very dangerous and scary and could cause a bad car wreck. If anyone has any good advise, please respond. Thanks.

Try wiggling the key. If you can make it happen that way, it's a flaky ignition switch. That's not particularly rare in Hondas, especially if your keychain is heavy.

Some people have sunk piles of money into it because they throw parts at it without diagnosing the problem.

 

call the honda dealer, give them the vin # and ask them if the ignition switch recall has been done ..
