Also I might add that you only have a small radius that these two connectors can reach and I don't find anything else that needs a connector and is within reach.

I am not familiar with the V6 and I don't have a wiring diagram for the 98-02 V6.

If you took a picture of the transmission, maybe someone could help. I am not sure what U-shaped part you are talking about. The picture would need to be more focused than the previous one. Also, can you see the bare wires that are part of the wiring harness?

The other option is to look around locally for a 98-02 V6 being sold and take a look in the engine bay.

OK I think I have a handle on this but can you put a picture up on the Linear Solenoid and the Shift Solenoid? It comes from one of them.

PA Honda what is the part that your 05 Acura lists as #9. Is that the linear solenoid or shift solenoid?

The broken connections came from the linear solenoid on the top of the transmission. My son did not disconnect them and they broken off nice and clean. Problem expensive but solved.

Glad to hear you figured it out. Here is a link to some Honda solenoids and some harness connector repair kits.

The pictures I posted were for your accord. The TSX is in my signature, so people can see what vehicle I drive.

Glad you identified the part.

I called over ten salvage yards and they would not take a linear solenoid off a tranny. I called tranny shops and they wanted $175 or so for it. I called two Honda dealerships and it was $260 or $270 for the part. I least expected but decided to try ebay and bought one for $98.
