ok, let's see who can figure this one out and help out the newbie . i start the car and try to drive it , it initially moves a bit and then it's like the trans is totally slipping , check engine light comes on and the d4 on the dash is flashing , ok here it gets weirder, i shut the car off and start it right back up , check engine light still on ,(probably cause of the stored code) and the car drives perfectly normal . the cose i got out of it was 1751 . i hope someone has some good ideas . thanks for any info that may help .

 

How many miles? I think Honda has silently extended the warranty on 2000 & 2001 automatic trannys. Someone around here (Chiovnidca?)should know more about that.
