Default 2000 honda accord starting problem ?

Ok so I have had the car about a week and up till last night I have had no running issues at all no missing power loss .nothing . I went to Walmart came home and about 30 mins later I jumped in it started it up and it cut right out tried again cut out then I tried starting it up and gave out some gas it sputtered a little bit and rpms went up and it ran fine let off the gas and it cut out . Started it again raised the rpms a bit put it in gear started moving and when I get a stop sign it sputtered a little bit drove off and it drove and started fine the rest of the night . I was wondering what you think it is ? Do they have glitches or were you thinking the IEC got stuck or fuel pressure issues etc 3.0 v6 thanks !

It started out sounding like a flaky ignition switch, so try something...
When it's stalling as soon as you start it, try holding the key just a bit to prevent it springing back COMPLETELY to the run position. Allow it to spring back just enough so the starter motor stops running. If that makes a difference, you can try a new switch. In fact, with your VIN any dealer can check whether your car has a recall on the switch.

But a flaky ignition switch doesn't exactly fit with it running fine for the remainder of the day.

Anyway, see if you can get it to stall by wiggling the key. If so, then get a switch. The recall doesn't get you a re-designed improved switch, they just replace it. Once.
