starting problem in honda accord 2000 v6

Default starting problem in honda accord 2000 v6

can anybody tell me what exactly the problem , when i drive lot and park for 10 -15 minutes and start the engine the RPM starts jamb between 0 and 1 ????


That is exactly what happens in video

This has nothing to do with fuel. Either the ignition switch, starter, or the battery.

Call your local honda dealership and find out if the ignition switch recall was ever done on your car.

See if jump starting the battery will get the car to start.

Just me but some of the v6 accords in this gen had/have a heat soak issue....vapor lock.

And again just me but the "winter blend" of gas seems to make the issue worse.

it's OK but this car is no problem all the time just after stop in park at 10 -15 minute either once week .

Don't know where osama is located, but if that 10-15 minutes is idling the engine then vapor lock makes even more sense.

Winter-blend fuel makes it worse. It has a higher vapor-pressure to make it easier to vaporize when the engine is cold. That also makes it easier to vaporize in the fuel lines in a hot engine-compartment.
