2001 honda accord check engine - d4 blinking

666 what kind of atf did you use? and how many quarts did you replace? thanks

I used original Honda oil.....the whole 9 quartz....
I drained all the oil in the transmission..,....
I also cleaned all the the solenoids........

one solenoid was very durty.........


car is running like new.....

once again ......thank you very much for the info........

666 thanks for your reply, good to hear your trans is doing good. how did you get all 9 quarts out? I read that only 2 or 3 quarts came out through the drain plug. thanks again

I did a Transmission Oil flush........by disconnecting the hose going from the
transmission to the coolant and then you drain all the oil......

Flashing D4 lamp means you can also have an auto-parts-store plug in a scanner & tell you the error codes. The actual error code number (something like P1234) is much more useful than the store-guy's description.
