Use a volt meter and check that the wht/yel wire going to the brake switch has 12V to ground (any bare metal bolt will work) when the key is in the II position.

Just as a quick update, The rear brake light in the center is now working. I don't know how, but it is. I just removed the power and plugged it back in, and it started working.

I have tested by power from the brake light switch, and it is working/(power running through)

Now here is the odd part. on the clip that connects to the bulb on the brake light there are two wires the black (ground), and the a Green /w Blue (driver side) Green /w Yellow (passenger side). When testing those for power, there is none when the brake pedal is pressed. All other lights work though. So it seems only these are not.

I traced the wires to a junction of sorts. Based on my observations, the wire comes from the switch. It splits once to the center brake light, and then into a splitter of sorts. That splitter sends power to all the other bulbs on the rear portion of the car. I tested for power after that split, and no power on the live wires.

Am I just not grounding properly? Any other ideas that can be thrown out to help diagnose.

Not sure if you are talking about the brake failure sensor or not.....does this help? Notice the "high mount" does not go thru this sensor.

No it is not the failure sensor. It's literally a splitter that splits power coming from the front of the vehicle, and distributing power to all of the rear lights.

The high mount brake light also stopped working again. If it is a faulty senor how can that be proven?

I read a post about someone who just disconnected that piece, and plugged it back in, and the lights started working. I guess I will try that once I get home.

Also someone who disconnected something under the light and sprayed it with WD40.

Any idea if that was done, why it would cause the lights to come on again.

Lastly, I just realized that the blub that illuminates when the brake is pressed is the same as the one for the left turn signal, and that works...
