LOL..but i have had a traumatic brain injury. that is why i keep screwing up. have ur kids wear the helmets.

The "1.0" part of M6 x 1.0 refers to the thread pitch. It's a 6 mm diameter bolt with 1.0 mm spacing between each thread. Metric fasteners usually aren't classified as fine or coarse thread pitch.

Suggest you buy the installation kit. This isn't an easy job and having the right size drill bit and the installation tool will increase your chance of success. The alternative is having a professional do it for $$$.
