Wondering if anyone out there has experienced what I am?have a 2003 accord ex sedan v6 3.ol.140k miles recently getting some noise on top motor by power steering pump. Disconnected pump still have noise.Thinking valves maybe need adjustment,and or belt tensioner maybe going out believe I saw a post on that possibility as well.also about a tsb where something loosens up and needs to be retightened.code popped up a cpl days ago for crank sensor,the hits dont stop coming it seems, wondering if I should attempt doing the valves 1st and check timing belt tensioner before I buy a crank sensor,noise was there before crank sensor code.any of u have an idea or route I should take feel free I appreciate any info or advice.dealer wants 780 to adjust valves.will post video of noise as soon as I can find it $#/!!

 

Has the timing belt and tensioner been changed before? Could be timing belt tensioner rattle. My 03 would rattle at cold start up and go silent after a few minutes.

 

Believe the prior owner had it done at 90k according to label in engine compartment,noise is continuous even after start, definately going to look into it.was hearing tensioner can cause noise.hoping nothing internal,thanks for response
