2003 Honda Accord Blower not working
Hi,
My 2003 Accord EX's (4 door Automatic transmission) blower fan stopped working. The AC light comes on. just no air from the vent. Blower motor is checked OK, Relay is checked OK. Dealer says it will cost $900 to replace the entire front panel as the fan switch is bad and you can just replace that. You need to replace the entire panel, something like the illustration number 8 in this figure: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...R)&vinsrch=yes
Please help! I dont understand automotive parts at all and it looks suspecious to me to replace the entire panel when everything else is working but the fan!
Thanks in advance!!

I don't know how else, other than a used part (junkyard). I don't really understand why they can't sell the smaller components (switch assemblies) without the entire front panel. That's not engineering or auto parts, really - it's the cost of supply, inventory, & distribution and someone made a decision to NOT sell them separately.
