Default 2004 accord. Well, Wasn't the brake switch.

Hello, If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I searched the forums and found that my brake lights may have been out because of a bad brake light switch. I just replaced that, checked fuses, all ok and bulbs look good to. Any other suggestions on what it could be. They went out from one day to the next so I didnt think it was a grounding issue. Anything I can check? Its is a 2004 LX V6 four door car just in case that matters.

underhood fuse box chk fuse # 13 20 amps..

if fuse is good,,,,,,,at the brake switch chk the red wire make sure that it has power..
if no power there is a brake in the wiring from fuse box to brake switch red wire
if power is there
depress the brake pedal and chk for power at the white/ black if no power you got a bad brake switch ,, ( jump those 2 wires together) if brake lite come on replace switch..
if you got power at black white with pedal depressed, and nonoe of the brake lites work,, you got either all bulbs no good ( unlikely ) or a brake in the white/black wire from switch to the back..

try this and let us know ..
