Default 2006 Accord jerking at 40-50mph

Our 2006 Accord 4cyl with auto transmission recently started to jerk or sort of missfire at around 50 mph. It's only a single jerk and It always seems to be in 4th gear when it happens, but not sure if it's related to the transmission or not. Anyone with experience with this issue, please advise. Thanks!

Is the CEL on?

Is this an auto or manual trans.

Any additional info - only when the car is warm/cold. Only at a steady rpm.

Sorry but i dont know what you are referring to as CEL?

Its an Auto transmission. Not sure if its tempature related because it just started happening recently, although it did do this once or twice randomly a few weeks ago and then the other day. It is cold where we live in northern mn.

Maybe some ice crystals in the fuel. Drop some dry gas in.

To answer your question, CEL = check-engine light.

That would make sense because after the one day of issues, it hasn't acted up for over a week. I can only hope it's something this simple. Thanks!!

The CEL did not come on when this started happening but after a week, all is back to normal so far. We'll see how it goes. Thanks!
