2007 Accord HYBRID - major problems
Hi Everyone, I am hoping to get some help here to solve some issues with my car
I bought this car in Oct. of 2010, it had one owner and 45,000 KM on the car in great condition.
Since I bought it I have had expensive problems
1. Multiple misfires on all cylinders and they had to replace all the spark plugs and ignition coils - $1100
2. Now they tell me that the computer is not working properly error SAEJ 1850 VPW Control Module and that could cost $2,500
Is there a problem with my car specifically or does anyone else have these issues?
thanks!

Everyone has that one car that seems to cost a fortune to repair.. It happens to alot of people each year
Now im not sure what the mechanic/dealer has tried before doing these repairs, but all of these things are possible reasons for misfiring:
-No/weak spark (plugs, wires, distributor, wiring, pcm, etc)
-Too much or not enough fuel (fuel pump, filter, stuck open/clogged/shorted injector, wiring, pcm, etc)
-Vacuum leak
-Stuck open EGR or clogged ports
-Timing
-Compression
That is a ridiculous price for that to be done.....

Did your car actually have misfires or was it because the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) aka Check Engine Light came on and the code(s) were for misfire(s)? It may need a software update if it was due to misfire code(s) being misinterpreted.
There was a Honda Technical Service Bulletin (TSB 10-007) regarding misfire code(s).
2006–07 Accord Hybrid: MIL Comes On With DTC P0300 and One or More of DTCs P0301 Thru P0306
SYMPTOM
The MIL comes on with DTC P0300 (random cylinder misfire detected) and at least one of DTCs P0301 thru P0306 (No. 1 thru No. 6 cylinder misfire detected).
PROBABLE CAUSE
The PGM-FI software misinterprets inputs, causing the DTCs to set.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Update the PGM-FI software with the HDS.
