I have a 2008 Honda Accord Sedan 2.4L w/Nav. Stock set up yes. How would I know if a speaker is grounding out the sound if that's a possible problem.

What ended up being the problem?
My guess is the amp died.

Default Radio on but no sound - fixed

I hope this help someone! I tried to replace the battery in my 2008 Honda Accord and put it in backwards and blew the main fuse and my radio amp fuse ... I replaced my main fuse (which was a dealer only part), the car came on and so did the radio but there was no sound. The fix was quite simple and did not require removing speakers or the radio. I simply replaced the 20 amp radio fuse located inside the car, on the passenger side, under the glove box, on the right. There was a spare 20 amp under the hook in the main fuse box. Once replacing the fuse, the sound came back .

Default find fuse

My daughters 2008 accord coupe the radio just stopped working no lights no sound nada

so I opened the owners manual there is NO mention anywhere in the section on fuses of the radio fuse

So I did some research apparently the fusing for radio is in the underhood fuse box and is in the #2 multi position fuse you have to undo a screw to remove this multi fuse which I did then tried to pull it out but it will not pop out and I am afraid of breaking some thing

I have also checked the 2 accessory fuses #s 17 and 18 in driver side fuse block and they are okay

This is a really stupid setup not one of Honda's better ideas

anyone have any input on this matter

For the premium audio system (without navigation), first check driver's side interior Fuse 18 (7.5A) and passenger side Fuse 15 (20A).

For normal audio system, first check driver's side interior Fuse 18 (7.5A) and driver's side Fuse 16 (7.5A).

Check the No. 15 (10A) fuse located in the under hood fuse box.

Usually the fuse blows first.
Thanks bud! I pulled out that fuse and it wasn't blown. I put it back in and now the radio works lol

Default radio fuse 2008-2012 aaccord 4 cyl. 4 door

If the radio does not come on at all , It is the fuse panel under the hood/ fuse # 15 / 10 Amp fuse.
Also it controls the remote trunk and locks, I know because I just did it on mine !
