Default 2008 Accord Timing Belt

Hello, and thanks in advance.

I am looking into changing my timing Belt and water pump.

I have a:

2008 Accord, EX 4 DR 4 cylinder. The Haynes book for my year is not yet available. Does anyone know if I use the 2007 book is it the same or is there material out there that might help. Any help will be greatly appreciated..

Thanks again....

Your car has a timing chain that doesn't need to be changed at a certain mileage.

The 07 is a different generation accord, so there are likely some differences. I would suggest getting a pdf of the shop manual for your car. It will pay for itself in one repair. I got mine from the seller automanualsource on Ebay for $21.99. I think there is also a website.

Only the V6 engine has a belt, since 03 model year. The water pump doesn't need changing unless it leaks or is noisey.
