Default 2009 Brake light problem

My brake light dosent beam higher when i press the brakes. All lights work such as headlights, turn signals, hazards, tail lights, reverse lights. But soon as press brake pedal it dosent do anything. Im assuming its a short somewhere because of a cheap phone car charger. I also drive a 1998 blazer that has the same problem i noticed days ago. I just drove the accord 2 days ago and only thing i used in both is car charger and bluetooth aux. Is there a relay or fuse to look for???

First check fuse 13 for continuity (not burnt out).

Most likely fault is brake pedal switch not passing voltage. Need to test wht/blk wire on brake light switch (for 12V w/ brake pedal depressed.

If no voltage, a new switch is fix.

An open in wht/blk wire is also possible.

good luck

Thank u. Went thru fuses they seemed all good. I went ahead and replace both bulbs and seems to do the trick. Eyes can be deceiving. They didnt look bad. They were.
