2010 Accord: Brake light + ABS light on; loose battery cable cause?
Daughter driving last night when the brake and ABS light went on, car started slowing down. But she experienced no braking issues and the brake fluid was full. But discovered that the red terminal clamp on a recently installed battery (not by me, but kid at AutoZone) was loose. Loose to the point off slipping off pretty easily. I suspect the d'board lights and slowing of the car is due to the loose batt cable connection. I drove it around a little and had no issues. She was able to continue driving it to her destination with no issues. We of course tried tightening the cable clamp around the terminal, but found it could not be tightened further, which seemed a bit odd. but that was the case. I thought auto battery terminals were generally a standard circumference. I plan to take it back to AutoZone. Thoughts on the above: D'board lights and slowing likely the loose connection? How can I get the clamp tighter? thanks in advance.
Is it the OEM clamp? - Yes
Was a 10mm socket used? Didn't look that closely when the kid at Auto Zone was installing. Are you thinking i should take a 10mm to it to see if I can tighten further? The car hasn't been here since the incident happened. Tho she did drive to work today no issues, no lights. but still need to fix the loose connection.

I tightened my battery clamp with a boxed wrench one time and thought I got it tight. The clamp came off the post. When I used a 10mm deep socket, I got the clamp tighter and the clamp never moved.
