Default 2014 - Airbag light after Starter Replacement

So yesterday I disconnected the battery and replaced the starter on my 2014 Accord Coupe (manual) and today I noticed that my airbag light is on.

Are the wires that run near the starter related to the airbag system? Just wondering if I could have damaged something while wrestling with the starter.

How do I reset this light?

TIA

I am not familiar with air bag lights on Hondas.
But on some GM cars, if the air bag light comes on, it flashes a certain # of times depending on what the problem is, then stays on.

Does your light flash? If so, how many times?

If there is no flashing, I would be tempted to disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then re connect it.
And check the fuse for the air bags.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn’t flash… just comes on and stays on. I’ll disconnect/reconnect the battery again and check the fuses. Maybe I’ll get lucky. There are a couple of wires that run down near the starter that I pulled on pretty good when trying to get the main power wire off of the starter and extract it. My fear is that they are related to the airbags and/or crash sensors and I’ve damaged them. I hope I’m wrong!

Then the next thing is to look at those wire....

Maybe try connecting a Code scanner. Just because the engine light isn't on, doesn't mean there is no code.
