Default 86 honda accord do hatchback problems please help!

I'm having problem with my 86 accord dx hatchback. My brake lights and my tails lights stopped working this morning at some point. I do know my turn signals and reverse lights work. I checked all the fuses and replaced them even if they didn't seam bad. My horn does work. I did check the brake light switch and the plunger is fine. I checked the bulbs and found a few that were bad or looked like and replaced those also. Still no lights. Please help.

In the under hood fuse box, there is a fuse for the stoplights, is that one of the fuses you replaced?

Do you have a volt meter or test light?

That 20 amp "stop/horn" would be the one.

If you can, cheap volt meters can be had for less than ~$10 and can give better info than a test light and many do other things as well - continuity tests, ect.

So if the fuse is good and has been replaced my next suggestion is to test the brake light switch......this is where the test light/volt meter is needed.
