I think your Accord is running too rich. Does the oil smell like gas?

Oh I love a third gen , I am a sucker for those little fellas. Sounds like an 88 LXi

Anyway, next time the fella acts up try "clear flood" starting

My guess, REPLACE NOTHING on a Guess. The ICM is acting up and you are missing a good spark or the coil could be acting up They use to sell pretty cheap spark testers that you could use when it acts up to verify if spark is the issue

And if nothing else I would love to see a pic of the little fella.....as stated I'm a sucker for a 3rd gen

so today I created a spark tester out of one of the spark plugs I just took out of it. All four cylinders have spark. I don’t know whether it’s enough or powerful enough, but it’s there. I also took the connection off the fuel rail when the key is turned to two you can hear the fuel pump prime and gas comes out of that connection. When you try to start, the car fuel starts flowing out then as well. The attached image is the gas that came out of the fuel rail connection when I tried it. It looks clean with no. I also read somewhere about testing one of the connections on the distributor and checking the resistance between the orange blue and the white blue wires and it was supposed to be between 650 and 850 and on this car it’s 811. What should I test next?

I would chk the TW sensor , if it is faulty it will affect air/fuel ratio ( too much fuel ) plugs get fuel saturated engine won't start

You seem to be down to the new spark plugs you put in. Are they gas fouled
