Default 91 Accord problem

my tach started to jump around at first for awhile and the car would miss and barely run then sometimes it would run fine but now it does it all the time... ill start it up it will miss for a min then just die... sometimes it wont even start but when u turn it over the tach goes crazyy i replaced the entire distributor with new ICM coil plugs wires cap rotor but it still does it.... any ideas? thanks alot

internal coil? or stand off coil? EX, LX, DX
Power from the ignition switch w/key on at the Black/yellow wire at the dist. plug?

internal coil which is new and yeah theres battery voltage at the blk/yel wire with the key on.

There is a grounding point for the wire harness that attaches on the thermostat housing (I think).

You may want to lightly sand the contact and make sure that the bolt is on tight.

well thanks for all the help guys but i think i found the problem it blew the head gasket the oil is full of water and im thinking the lack of compression is causing my problems with how it runs? should i replace it or junk it? it has 260000 miles thanks
