Ok heres the deal i woke up 3 days ago jumped into my car to goto work and everything was cool as soon as i hit the first traffic light my car didnt wanna shift out of second gear into third. I restarted the car and bam it worked..but its developing a tendancy to do it more often my "S" light never came on. So i take it to a tranny shop where they cant reproduce the problem....say they are gonna run the codes...now they are telling me that they need to drop the tranny crack it open to diagnose the problem....but i dont trust them. I see a bunch of posts about tcu's could that be my problem even though my S light isnt on? they also told me that all my gears look good...soooo please some1 help me

 

When was the last time you changed the tranny fluid? Check the old for any metal shavings or a burnt smell? Change 3X using Honda ATF to replace most of old ATF. Also clean out shift solenoids and screens that may get clogged up over time.
