92 accord 5 door elec window?

Default 92 accord 5 door elec window?
Drivers window. What tells the elec motor to stop trying to open /close other than letting finger off the switch. Motor has 4 wires and 4 brushes. Anybody ever replace worn down brushes in window motor? Thank you.

Can say that I have tried to replace the brushes in a window motor.

There is a "limit" switch inside the motor that should "stop" it once it has reached the full limit of movement.
