Exclamation 92 Accord Coolant problem

I have an 92 Honda Accord SOHC and was having issues with it trying to over heat when ever I came to a stop or drove at low RPM, if I cranked the heater after a min the temp would go down. So I replaced the thermostat to start off with, for a couple days it was working great, but now it is over heating even while driving, I have to be at high RPMs to get the temp down the heater trick doesn't even work any more. I am a little stuck, I am not sure what it going on and I don't have the money to just start replacing everything. Any help/ideas would be awesome. Thanks ^_^

Are cooling fans running when engine temp is high? If not, you may have bad cooling fans, relays, or thermoswitch A (turns on fans when temp reaches 194F, about midpoint on gauge).

good luck
