Lightbulb 92 Honda Accord LX Steering Problem

Hello, I'm new to the forum and wanted to see if I can get some help/advice and the problems I'm having with my Accord.....

Problems:

- Steering is very rough and makes noise when barely turning the wheel.

- Installed a new alternator and found out the "adjustment bolt" was missing which causes a squeaky annoying noise while driving. Where can I get a bolt from?

Any help/advice is appreciated, thank you.

Has any work been done on the PS system recently? Can you describe the noise, I know that is hard to to in words.

Not sure which bolt is broke? Got a pic.EDIT: Or see if this helps in "which bolt"...sorru forgot I even had this.

I did purchase the car a few months ago, was told that timing belt, power steering was replaced, also the cv joints, as for the noise when I make a slight turn it sounds like a it's struggling to turn.

As for bolt it's the one the red arrow is pointing at.

You can get the bolt from the dealer or find and "aftermarket" version. Just know that bolt "threads" into the lower alt bolt, so you want to be sure it didn't break off in there.

If u have a junkyard nearby u can grab bolts, I live close to a pick n pull. Usually dont get charged for a bolt or two.

For PS, have u checked fluid? If u lucky. A lot of people use atf, but I use the Honda fluid. Its like 6 bucks a quart at orielly
