92 Honda accord problems
92 honda accord, auto, with a/c, 286,000 miles, original motor and trans,
2 questions
1.While driving down the hwy yesterday, 70 mph, with cruise on, flat road, no wind, the tach would go up one mark and it would feel like it slightly came out of overdrive, and in a moment or 2 would ease back in. It only seemed to do this between 65 and 75 mph. slower speed didn't notice it much. I tried this also. When I slowed down some, around 40 to 45, I pulled the shifter back to D3. I drove it 45 to 50 in D3 for a mile or 2, worked fine. Went back to D4 and it started it again. tks for any help.
2. I replaced the radiator, thermostat, and rad cap. It has been about 2 weeks ago, and it has run every day for about 20 or 30 miles. I have checked the rad every morning, just to make sure all air is out of the system. It seems that the overflow jug is full every morning. So I poured from the jug back into the rad, to top it off, and when i am finished the jug is about on the line as before. When I replaced the rad I filled it about half full to the line on the jug, and topped the rad off. I have no leaks and the car guage has not run hot, it stays in the same palce. IS this normal? Didn't do this before?? tks

Welcome!
It sounds like the antifreeze isn't getting sucked back into the radiator when it cools down (like it should).
First suspect is radiator cap, but that's new, right? How about holes in the rubber hose to the reservoir. That would let air in when it tries to suck fluid.
