93' Accord Timing problems
Just replaced the timing belt/ water pump on my Accord and now it isn't running the way it should. It takes a couple extra cranks to fire up, and when it does it sounds a little rough. It seems to take longer for the rpms to come back down to an idle after you hit the throttle? Like, it is slow to rev up and slow to come back down in rpms? If that makes sense. More importantly it has absolutely no power, it won't even back up my driveway. It just bogs really low and can't make it more then 10' up the hill. I lined the cam marks to the top of the head, my oil pump/rear balance is on the correct revolution and lined up with the correct mark (screwdriver slides easily into the port thing on back of engine) and the crank shaft pulley is positioned with the "up" arrow facing upward and slightly to the right. (Not sure if that is correct but I figured "up" should be pointing in the same direction as the cylinder" pretty sure the engine is at TDC. In the window on the other side of the engine shows the T is aligned with the reference point.
