94 accord ex 4 door driver side lock actuator
i have a 94 Honda accord ex 4 door on the passenger side i can key lock and unlock all 4 doors but on the driver side key it only unlock and lock just the driver side door. do some of u 94 accord 4 door do the same or my driver side door actuator messed up?? eny idea
The 94 didn't come with a remote door lock, so the control unit may be aftermarket or a honda accessory. Look for a brand name on the key FOB or take a look under the driver's dash for some wiring that looks out of place to find the control unit for your remote control.
I'm somewhat confused, not hard for me to be that way.
YES, normal that the key on the pass side UNLOCKS all doors....if you are nice to your lady getting into the car after a nice dinner and open the door for her it is nice that when you get to the drivers side the door is already unlocked. Key to unlock on the drivers side and only the drivers door unlocks.
Now for locking, using either door should lock all doors...again, if you help your lady out of the car and use the key to lock it from the pass side, all doors locking is nice.
At least that is how it works on my 95 EX
EDIT: should have started with going to dinner instead of leaving...

Ignore my first post. I thought that you were using a remote.
You can do some testing if you have a volt meter to figure out if the drivers door actuator or the key switch is causing the problem.
What happens with the locks when you use the switch inside of the car?

To unlock all doors from the driver's door, I can't remember the trick. You either hold the key in the unlocked position for a couple seconds, or you release it and turn it again. That's a "feature", not a problem.
